The sleeping giant of MOD’s for BF2 has awoken for another release! http://www.nawmod.com/ A renewed interest in Nations at War began a few months ago; we put this down to Battlefield 2 selling for $9.99 and a new generation of players with newer machines better able to play BF2. We made a list of things that needed fixing and tweaking and after talking to the =Aces= clan and feedback from our forum we started work. We also included new content from our sister MOD Hard Justice and at the same time we were given the opportunity to incorporate GameStats a independent player ranking system much like the original BF2. This entailed creating map ID numbers for all 97 maps and as requested map screen shots for all 97x7 maps. We also fixed 3 previously released maps that would not show up in the map listings and added 7 new maps. All this is included in Map Pack5 There are now unlocks for all 42 levels giving each of the 14 Nationalities of armies in Nations at War 3 unlocks each. We can't edit this file because we don't have the actionscript source and flash project. but im not sure what this means

  10. hi guys need a little help. trying to work out the best way to fix a few probs with the bots and shotguns. being to ubber as they never seem to miss lol even from a decent range what i would like is he following. bots use sniper weapons over 50-max range of weapon bots use primary weapons over 15-50 meters bots use shotgun weapons over 7-15 meters bots use pistol weapons over 4-7 meters bots use knife and shock paddle over 0-1 meters is this adjusted in the weapon ai of each weapon? also whats the most realistic settings for shotguns. thx.

  12. lol i new you were gonna say that. well first i had a working objects folder in bf2 with everying extracted in it some files in there were older than ones in naw deleted this folder and this combined with the fact i had tweaks and cons just a few in client zip and bundles in server zip this was the cause. i extracted my server objects zips to a folder did a search for collisions,textures and sounds found a few deleted them re ziped. the did the same for server objects looked for cons tweaks ai and animations found a few and deleted them zipped it up to. and naw has never been so smooth and stable. all the random crashes have gone.

  15. Hi guy’s i need your help. Naw mod is currently a beta and I am having an issue that I don’t seem to be able to fix. I don’t seem to be able to join a server without CTD on verifying client data, I can create single player coop and multiplayer games just fine. Here is how I created server files got the naw folder deleted the client zips from both the mod folder and all the levels folders. Since the last beta several things have been added but I tried removing everything and still no luck. Here is the scoop. The latest 5.0 beta 2 has all new in game flags these were added to atlas over the top of bf2’s flags And the other flags in various other paths were changed too. All dds files were saved as ARGB and alpha channels with no mipmaps. 10 civilian cars from the surreal mod were added HUD icons are dds files saved as above. 2 mobile artillery from hard justice were added HUD icons are dds files saved as above. 3 helo’s from hard justice were added HUD icons are dds files saved as above. 1 plane from hard justice was added HUD icons are dds files saved as above. 1 weapon was added HUD icons are dds files saved as above. 1 boat was added HUD icons are dds files saved as above. Now the above HUD icons were not added to the atlas file but all work locally no problem. Debugger doesn’t give any clue nor dose windowed mode. So anyone had this before? point me in the right direction.

  19. Changing flags in bf2 Here is my first shot at a tutorial, Im going to tell you where everything is you need to change, As it can get a little confusing. Do all your editing in Photoshop and save as a 8888 dxt5 with 13 mip maps and alpha You will need to grab the following files and edit the flags accordingly. First the flags on the poles in game. Go to the following dir C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Objects\staticobjects\common\textures\flags_c.dds Above is a example: Put in your mod in the same path as in bf2 after you have edited it in Photoshop. Next the memeatlas this puts most of the little flags in the hud. And I beleave thats it guys no easy task I know which is why it took so long to figure it out, with help from bf2sp and the editor site. SatNav's NightVision! im having a problem ONLY PPL WHO DON'T HAVE SPECIAL FORCES GET THE FOLLOWING ERROR. looked trough all the files he gave us no clue. but i do recall seeing this error before in a unrelated thread before. ctd - Where (Map) op-jo night mode local Co-op - 64 player When (what were you doing) loading - to 13% everything seems to point to cleaning your cache files from my docs/bf2 any help or advise would be great ppl
