  1. Anyway so is it carreragt_c_woodland for woodie maps like wake and another suffix for ice or desert?
  2. How do I add textures suffix in the game?. I will give credit once the mod is released it's just I want people to see how it drives and stuff. I should also add like a middleeast colour to it aswell
  3. Okay strength I have It on the tire, Rubber and on the wheel, metal.

  5. There is some way though cause the helicopter uses it on the glass. I don't know how to reflect it though i did make it transparent. EDIT: Talking about my lambo of cause
  6. I have done the impossible (well to me) and placed a lamborghini murcielago LP640 into BF2 and It runs almost perfactly. With proper engine sounds and Real interior, Real speedometer and Real Tachometer. It just looks fantastic. The real only problem now is that when you drive over a bridge the wheels spin but the car doesn't move. TIP: Do not stop the car while going over a bridge and never go on the bridge on an angle. This car is got more armour than a tank and It go go pretty deep underwater. Some screenshots of the car. I just need to work the mirrors, don't know how to do that. DOWNLOAD: Comes with max file, lambomurci folder (the one you put in the objects/land folder yourself as well as an object spawner for the map.   8. Any way I got this one off the net and fully re uvmapped it. As soon as I do things like reset xform and put in the car utilitys it will work. Question, How do I give a car nos like battleracer. I don't want like to big nos like the stunting dpv from sandbox. But in battleracer they have a small sized blue nos instead of the overloaded orange big nos. (Question basically says how do I change colour and size of nos) Anyway this car is a porsche carrera gt (Please chooses a colour, I can't decide) Some pics of it In white In Black In Red EDIT: forgot to ask my main question. How do I make mirrors reflect?
  9. That happens to me and also the col 1/2 meshes scaled down i think you have to like change transformation and reset the x form and stuff.
  10. Thanks for that tutorial but The colour of my car isn't really textured I just scaled UV Mapped it to a black area of my texture. So how would I normal that??? Anyway Im exporting bugatti veyron and I found ferraris !!!! =P
  11. Thanks for the response. How do I make a grey color map then. Do I use it in shadow section????? Will use the EnvMapColormapGloss (Us Aussies say colour =P ) I have always been wondering how do you normal map a texture (Is it like a filter in photoshop or fireworks?) Or could I just use my texture.

I try to make a section of col1 (and body_playercontrolled objects) to another map mateial (made a new one number 6) and I called it vishulltank to show me that that what that bit is and I export it, open it up in the editor and It's not their how come? I kinda found a way to make the steering better. I increased drag and decreased weight. But I still don't get what you mean with the lods geoms. My lold 1 now has the steering in the right place. I also fixed the wreck time glitch. Basically It's done except for bridge and more steering tweaking. ALSO HOW TO YOU CHANGE THE SHINEYNESS OF IT???? It's to shiny. ONE MORE QUESTION: Should it be black??? Or camoflauge???? THanks for your help

  15. You need a picture editor to mod the flags you cant change flags by code
  16. First you would have to open bf2editor then make a new mod. After that, open the main bf2 folder-in normal BF2 its in C:\Program Files\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\. After that search the menu_client.zip folder. In their, go to \menu_client\hud\texture\ingame\flags\icons\minimap\ then if you want to change mec, go to mec folder. If you want to change usa go to USMC. There you will find the uncap flag, the flag normal and stuff but basically go their and change the picture files with your editor (I recommend highly not to use paint!!! ) Then place the flag you want instead of mec (or usmc) Oh and here as well (common_server.zip)\common_server\hud\texture\ingame\flags\icons\hud\score for more flags NOTE: I don't have demo so Im not sure how it works but thats how you mod full version
  17. Sorry for the slow response i've been very busy and also my interent stuffed but I fixed it. Well Beex I don't know what you are saying by convert to editble poly. That works aswell, just means you can't edit the segments anymore and I don't take me being a noob as offensive cause it true anyway I took screenshots so when I get interent I can post em here. (cause I wanted to reply, got the screenshots came back and internet was stuffed Dang!!!!) I also just need some help with it and If any of ya request it with your next post i will upload How can I improve steering its terrible!!!! how can I make it so when it goes over bridges it doesn't stop (wheels spin but car doesn't move) I tried all diferent col1 methods!!! Those are only glitchs other than the sound glitch (hard to find a constant lambo sound) and the HUD I need to make EDIT: don't know why It doesn't take damage from hull. I exported a mitsubishi lancer evo x and did damage tests and it takes damage from bullets at hull but my lambo didn't. Fit 2 people in it but for some reason if you look at the animation system in 3rd person, There is a person with a machine gun in one hand and holding (like a steering wheel) in the other. Those are really the only bugs. Anyway here it is. Interior Interior under water (with speedos) (Tacho also works) Exterior Wreck Misc
  18. Thanks sorry I havn't been here i was busy on the weekend It works great i wonder why yours works and mine doesn't? Oh well makes the lambo sound a lot cooler. I just need to get soundforge working so I can make the load sounds on my engine. Then after that, make the car higher so you don't loose health when driving it and add another passanger then im all set!!!!!
  19. I don't know what you mean by scott system wav format. I did put a region marker just you don't see it because I uploaded just the .wav rather than it and the .sfk
  20. Don't worry I found out how to model!!! I had to make another box then you give it segments which gives it vertex points. After that I have a lot of vertex points to modify so I have succefely finished making a good colision mesh instead of just a box. To many vertex though will have to fix.
  21. Can you please delete the first (or second post) of this topic because it repeats it self and also can you please delete the post that is in here in my object editor mschoeldgen? I tried doing the start_idle_stop thing in soundforge but I can't get it to work because theres a file next to it which has the data for the regions but if I delete it it doesn't work with regions and If I don't delete it, It doesn't work completely. I tried many options like save with metadata and without. I even opened the HMMWV's (hummer) sound and exported it and it still had the data beside it. If you know how to do it i would appreciate it if you took a look at it or told me how to do it.   22. Okay I use it on wake and it works but I just need to change the tacho, speedo glitch and also should not completely make a completely terrible lod like I did but a semi terrible one. I have kinda finished it except for passanger. That should be easy though cause sandbox has a seating shooting passanger. Can you tell me how to add vertex modifires to my col boxes because I don't even know how to model in max but I would love it if I found out how to modify the vertex points of the col boxes so It would be accurate when It went up a slope. Also how would I fix the bridge glitch and fix up my steering? One last request and I know this will just come back here if I post it as another topic. Reason for edit had sound problem here moved to my sound post!!!

YAY I GOT it in the lambo in but occasionly it crashes and If you put the video settings on low it displays the lod1 which is liney (cause of multires) and It displays a wheel instead of a speedometer Also My collision mesh is just a box so you can't go up slopes and I need to move my collision mesh up cause turning or going up a slight slant gives you damage. Its okay with the bullet glitch cause you don't kill lambos with machine guns but with anti-tank bullets and c4! I will show some screenshots and videos later but I can't at the moment. It looks FANTASTIC though!!!! Everything is pretty okay i mean it's my first car!
  24. I have an engine sound for my Lamborghini Murcielago Lp640 recorded from Need for Speed with audacity. I have the engine sound when doing hi revs (ie forgetting to gear change ) And I basically got my lambo in the game, And recorded the engine sound on a strait before crashing. Engine sound strait http://www.sendspace.com/file/bwgeqn Engine Rev (small, loop) http://www.sendspace.com/file/hkc7k0 I also looked at a few engine start sounds from youtube and so I have my engine sound and I also found an idle sound on youtube aswell. So I basically need to know how to put these engine sounds onto Battlefield 2 for my car cause it sounds weird with the chinese jeep's engine sound.
