  2. Ah well when I say I don't manage to make it looks nice it's like "non-realistic" colors/ render etc etc.. Like, if i want to make a sand camo for the sniper, I already tried to change the main color of the existing ghillie ( playing with red / blue / green .. ) but the render of it isn't my aim.. The aim would be a real color of sand with some other colors to make it realistic..but..I didn't find any ways to make it.. I'm a noob at picture editing >.> And yes I'm actually working on it by trying to edit the existing US camo texture... T_T

  4. Hi, I'm about making different textures for ghillies suit and I don't find any way to make it looks nice.. Maybe I didn't search enough..but..Is there any tutorial concerning this ?

  6. Thanks for help ! and no I didnt know that xd Another question ( to don't make another thread ), how I could remove these "borders" on the map, ow well.. When you apply your texture, actually, from far, you can notice the map has been painted with duplicated squares of the "texture" so you can see some annoying borders which doesn't really give a realistic feeling...Maybe it would be possible to make the "square B" continueing the wave of the "square A" by (by example)..or.. Any ideas ?
  7. Hai, I'm actually trying to make some custom Detail & Color textures for bf2 and I need some help with it.. What I did : Detail texture : this one seems to work fine..Oh well when I put a color texture with it it looks crappy, like the detail texture is "covered" by the color. - sized 1024*1024 - saved as .dds DXT5 Color texture : this one doesn't work, it looks like a rainbow and when I try to remove it with "right clik" , editor crashes. - sized 512*512 -saved as .dds DXT5 Thanks for help !

    I think I spent 2 hours trying to find out a plug-in or a tool being able to convert a .mdl file to a .max file...well I really need your help because if I can't convert my .mdl all my work will be ended

    Oh Thanks ^^ it will be useful for me...lol( i still a newbie like i ever said xD ), btw concerning tools i am ok its more concerning "real" instructions, idk very well how to do it or not etc etc.. well uhm if you agree..maybe you could give me a copy of your tut that you got in backup ^^
  11. Well, i spent much time to search how to edit us ( and others ) helmet skins.. SO do you know how to do it and what files do i need to edit ? btw : do you know an excellent tut about soldier's skins and vehicul's skins ? i didnt find any in tut forum :s
  12. Hi, I don't know what to do...my mini_flags for the minimap and scoreboard doesnt work and idk why... Please, if you got a check list or anything, write it in your post.. ( I made a flag which works perfectly..but i still have US mini_flags on the minimap and on the scoreboard...)

Ok, uhmm well in my mod i got it : Objects > Common > Flags > flag_nameofmyarmy > flag_noma.con/.tweak / meshes > flag_noma.skin.. > staticobjects > comon > textures > flags_a.dds + flags_b.dds i already modified in the .con + .tweak :s i copied the flag_US and renamed it ( with all files that it contains ) with flag_noma so does it mean the flag i made is for US ? in the init : gameLogic.setTeamFlag 0 "flag_neutral" gameLogic.setTeamFlag 1 "flag_ch" gameLogic.setTeamFlag 2 "flag_us" gameLogic.setTeamFlag 0 "flag_neutral" gameLogic.setTeamFlag 1 "flag_ch" gameLogic.setTeamFlag 2 "flag_noma" is that right ? one more thing : do i need to put the "objects" folder in the map ?
