  1. Hi, whoah, it's been a loong time since I've posted a new topic on this site. xD Anyway, about the question. Is it possible to make the soldier cam (the one that the dead players can access by hitting the 'spacebar' and then switching between the soldiers by clicking 'c') which shows the allied soldiers from the third person perspective from a vehicle accessible from one of the seats of a vehicle? My team and I are trying to make a commander seat in the APC for Acheron which would allow the player who occupies the seat to see the allies and switch between them somehow. I'm not really familiar with these camera related things, so I was wondering if there's anyone here who could help us. Thank you

  3. It's been a while since I posted here... figured I'd share some of the things I've been working on since I started messing with 2142 again. The python interpreter included with vanilla Battlefield 2142 is lacking a fairly large amount of functionality. Much of this involves restrictions on OS interaction, as well as the removal of threading support and the ability to load C extensions. Due to this, a large chunk of the standard library is broken as it depends on functionality that was removed.
