gamer.supreme.1
Very nice and easy technique to create terrain. This works great for the noob like me who is willing to use just about any terrain to move beyond to the next step in map making. Thanks

Thumbtoes72
Having some trouble with L3DT tutorial doesn't help exactly as L3DT has been updated. I know if you did a 512x1 level you set it to 513 (one over) so you would set a 1024 x4 to 4097? One problem I get when putting it into my level is this. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/810/waves.jpg/
mschoeldgen[Xww2]
Scale 4 stands for one heightmap dot each 4 meters. So the heightmap still is a 1025*1025 grid, only stretched to fill the 4 km. Note that scale 4 maps are not for the beginner - if you're new start with scale 2 .
