Pco's Only For Ai

Is it possible to have a PCO that can only be used by AI,

So say you walked up to the XM1219 Armed Robotic Vehicle and pressed the Enter key, you didn't enter. This is what i want.

1. Add your vehicle only to the COOP/SP gamemode

2. Create a Spawnpoint very close to this vehicle and give it this properties:

ObjectTemplate.TeamOnVehicle 1
ObjectTemplate.setAIEnterOnSpawn 1
ObjectTemplate.setAllowSpawnCloseToVehicle 1
ObjectTemplate.setOnlyForAI 1

If you spawn enough bots one of them will probably spawn there and occupy the vehicle.

You could possibly do something similar with python but thats much harder to code.

Uh msch, the OP doesn't want humans to enter a vehicle, only AI :P

maybe edit the vehicle to remove the enter point or move it out of player's reach?

which is useful if the PCO comes with an onboard SpawnPoint.

That would affect all vehicles of that kind and bots can't enter without an entry point, too. Edited by mschoeldgen[Xww2]

i have an arv assault and a supply mule in bf2 and i gotta say the arv assault is bloody lethal stuff...lol,if you add realism to it,doing recon and picking off armour with the javelins is its strongest point,in close quarters against infantry it can stand its ground,using the arv when commander takes it to a whole new level.

adding the supply mule and arv assault to the supply drop and vehicle drop commander assets makes groups of squads more effective.
