Okay, so I have a duplicate soldier template for which I would like to have useless ai, or at least ai that won't get in a vehicle. I need the other soldier templates to act normal though. I duplicated the 'Soldier' ai template and started messing with the values, and although I did get the bots to just stand there, they crashed the game whenever they saw an enemy or a vehicle. Does anyone know how to make this work?

Ahh boy, I don't know if I still have it. I remember I had to make a change to the .con though, but I don't remember where I put the changed .con file. It does what it says on the box, spawns a vehicle and then (sometimes) an AI bot will spawn inside it. Otherwise, a braindead bot spawns NEXT to it and just stands there until it gets kicked automatically and the game crashes.
