Export Problem With Multimaterials

I've been having some problems with exporting guns that need a multimaterial.

Normal guns that need only 1 texture per mesh work fine.

But as soon as I want to export a mesh with multimaterials, the exporter doesn't export anything, it only creates the folder, but leaves it empty.

I'm using the .con method, so channels aren't the problem.

any help?

Does that mean you 'addTemplate' a custom made child to an existing weapon ? If you modeled something i strongly suspect you're having more than one uvchannel which is not allowed in bundledmeshes. Also the vc ( vertex color ) channel should be cleared.

i don't model myself, but i take a expamle, eg. retexturing a M4/M203, m4 = m4 texture, m203 = m16a2 texture!

If you use an existing model you can't change the surface ID's of the model and are fixed to the existing ID's. Your textures then need to have the same name as the original ones.

To have more choices with texture properties ,like transparency and shader type use Rexman's 'BF2Materials.EXE' ,probably with one of the existing GUI wrappers for easier handling:
