Missing Face.........

I have a problem with 3d sight animations in BF2142. There seems to be some bug that makes some faces of the gun mesh disappear when they are very close to the camera. The animations that i made work perfectly in BF2 but not in BF2142. Is there any way to fix this? 8030697.png

I would guess the camera is inside the model. Dunno why this should happen but see what happens if you move the camera a bit away from the gun.

yeah thats definetly from the camera being too close to the object,"near culling".

I understand that. But what i dont understand is why this happens

only in BF2142 in BF2 it works perfectly.

I'm not that good in English but doesn't near culling have something to do with shaders?

I am going to test it with just the shaders from BF2 and see what happens.

OK now that i investigated some things i realized it has nothing to do with shaders. I just had to move the gun a bit forward like you guys suggested. But does anyone know what exactly is the near clipping distance of the camera in BF2142, so i could set it to the same value in 3ds max while animating?
