Add A Sound Effect To A Triggerable

in the map itself in AmbientObjects.con you will see the ambient area effects that trigger the birds

here's the sound for the e_dAmb_bird effect used above in Dalian Plant as an example. the sound event gets created in the e_dAmb_bird.tweak

ah ok i've never used those type but *i imagine* it would be similar in layout, as most BF sound code follows a similar pattern. when in doubt, give it a try. you might need to try inserting it in different sections of the triggerable's tweak before you find somewhere where it behaves as you want.

ok i have the sounds working locally but they wont work on a dedicated server, back tot he drawing board.

Hey we are on the same path you and I. I think we also both got lost in the same place.... :(

Spent so much damn time making custom sounds and getting all my tons of working doors barriers and other goodies just right and sync up with the sounds just to fail when I tried it on a dedicated server. If you find anything please for the love of god post it up! I can post up what I have now but I guessing you went the same route.

One more thing...Ambient triggers (birds and all that crap) I know you can have fire and move as triggers but there seems to be some gaps in the numbering for these. Is it possible one of those is the use/enter key?
