Guerin
Hello everyone! I want to make my own BF2 modification, but I simply cannot launch it I have 2 MS OS - Win 7 start basic and Win XP SP3 on VirtualBox, and is doesn't work after a first "Select startup mod" menu. Maybe anyone knows how to cope with this problem
Catbox
bfeditor needs direct x9 i believe... I think win 7 is directx10 standard. i hear you can install direct x 9 in win7 also http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-gaming/use-of-directx-9-in-windows-7/4e3a469a-35c6-45f4-83ab-d5147a8205a7 also the virtual win xp doesnt use your graphics card from what i remember... it uses a software graphics(virtual) The bf2 editor works best on win xp pro... installed not virtual. Guerin
Okay, thanks for reply. I already have both DX9 and DX11 installed on my Win7 32bit, because at first BF2editor came with an error message that I didn't have DX9 on my PC. Now it doesn't work without any error messages Also I want to ask one question. Do I need BF2editor if I'm going only to work with AI/configs etc and leave everything connected to graphics and maps to my friend who has XP? Bad_santa12345
It should work on Win 7 just by simply running it in Win XP compatibility mode. http://www.bfeditor.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=11189
Guerin
Bad_sants12345 of course I run it with compability mode, but it doesn't work on my system. I don't know why
