Dynamic Shadows

is it possible to give static objects or simple objects dynamic shadows?

ive tried adding this but with no luck...

The object has to have networkable info. To add networkable info to a SimpleObject without any errors you have to add mobile physics to it. But IMO the best way is to just change the object from a SimpleObject to a DestroyableObject and add armorcomp with maxHitPoints set to 99999.
