ObjectTemplate.weaponHud can't be invoked in the console

I'm trying to edit object templates directly in game with ObjectTemplate, it works fine with vehicles, for example if i want to access the VehicleHud and change the hudName it works.
But when I call ObjectTemplate.weaponHud.hudName it returns "Unknown object or method" even though I activated the object with ObjectTemplate.activeSafe.

Any ideas?
