New Tutorial - Windowed Mode and Other Helpful Flags

If your map is crashing and you don't know why, the first step is to run in "windowed mode" to see if you can get an error message. This can be tricky to do with a custom mod.

It's also a lot of work to manually start the game and switch to your mod each time you want to test.

When I do that I don't get a windowed version of the game, it runs full screen

How do I windowed even if I'm in the game?? alt+enter doesn't work

right click on the link to your mod.

the path should look like this "C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield 2BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/Battle_of_Mogadishu

change +fullscreen 1 to +fullscreen 0
