Maya Tools Installation Issues.

Recommended Posts

I've sent this to a few of you already...

If you’ve been having some trouble with the Maya tools, EA needs more information from you. We would like you to reply to this thread with your EAsyinfo (launched from the start menu, or directly from <BF2Install>supporteasyinfo.exe) as well as the directories you have Maya (along with the version), the editor, and your BF2 game installed to.

Also if you have an ATI card, please make special note of it. Also if you have multiple versions of Maya installed on the same system, please make a special note of that as well. We are currently working hard to try and resolve all the issues you guys are seeing with the tools, but again we need your help to get the full spectrum of separate install conditions.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2

System Memory: 1024.5

My video: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

My maya: Personal Learning Edition 6.0

Maya folder: "C:Program FilesAliasMaya6.0''

Battlefield 2 folder: "C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield 2"

My error: The plug-in could not be loaded since it was not built specifically for this version of the Personal Learning Edition of Maya.

I have done the steps of ''How to install the Maya tools'':

http://bfeditor.org/forums/index.php?showt...rt=0&postdays=0

But the update of Maya Personal Learning Edition 6.0 to 6.0.1 dont work :(

Bye,

Refresher

I'm also having problems.

I have 2 versions of maya on my machine at C:Program FilesAliasMaya6.0 and C:Program FilesAliasMaya7.0.

My Battlefield 2 path is C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield 2. I also have the Bf2Editor installed at C:Program FilesEA GAMESBattlefield 2bf2editor.

Heres a link to my EasyInfo http://www.elfwaves.com/EA/EasyInfo.html

My video card is an ATI x800.

My easyinfo is http://keithneilson.co.uk/easyinfo.htm

My maya directory is F:appsaliasmaya

My BF2 directory is F:gamesbattlefield

Hope you give us ATI support soon. Technically the tools should be designed to run on all the machines tht the game will. If you were Epic you would know that.

oh I forgot to say which card I was running.

Its a All-in-Wonder 9800 SE
